Visas can make or break a business trip - or a business deal. We know. As part of our efforts to ensure that our USRBC members' business travel and business plans go smoothly, USRBC welcomes you, your assistant or your designated team member (whoever is responsible for your visa applications) to come to or dial in to our briefing with experienced and knowledgeable senior officials from the Embassy of Russia on Thursday, November 14, from 9:00-10:00AM. This is an opportunity to get up to speed on what you need to know regarding current rules and to obtain answers to your visa-related questions regarding obtaining a business visa to Russia. This event will review procedures regarding how to obtain a Russian visa at consulates across the United States and here in Washington, DC. USRBC strongly encourages all USRBC members that travel to Russia for business purposes to have a three-year multiple entry Russian business visa.
The event will feature Sergey V. Trepelkov, Minister-Counsellor on Consular Affairs, and Maxim P. Goncharov, Head of the Consular Section, of the Embassy of the Russian Federation. Mr. Trepelkov and Mr. Goncharov will provide an overview of current rules and procedures for obtaining a three-year, multiple-entry Russian business visa at all Russian Consulates in the United States. The briefing will also address other Russian visa types and their duration; invitation letter requirements; expedited visa process; applying via a designated representative; applying from U.S. cities which do not have Russian Consulates; and rules and restrictions for travelers with business and tourist visas. After their presentation, Mr. Trepelkov and Mr. Goncharov will take questions from USRBC members.
