USRBC held a discussion on “Russia’s Economic and Political Outlook for 2018” with Dr. Vadim Grishin, Consultant to the International Finance Corporation’s Chief Economist, on Wednesday, February 28 at 8:30 a.m. in the Washington, DC office of Miller & Chevalier Chartered. Mr. Grishin gave an overview of the Russian government’s economic policy priorities in the context of the March presidential election and anticipated accelerating economic growth. He also discussed the viability of possible economic reform paths and competing policy priorities.

Vadim Grishin is a Consultant to the International Finance Corporation’s Chief Economist and an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. He was a Senior Advisor at the International Monetary Fund from 2014 to 2016 and an Executive Director at the World Bank from 2010 to 2014. He previously served as the Chief of the Economic Section at the Russian Embassy in Washington, DC. Mr. Grishin holds an M.B.A. from Georgetown University.
