USRBC-Supported Event: The National Symphony Orchestra’s Russia Tour and Russian Programming Initiative
Mar 29, 2017 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM

The U.S.-Russia Business Council is pleased to support the National Symphony Orchestra's A Salute to Slava , a year-long 2016-2017 season programming initiative celebrating the NSO’s former Music Director Mstislav Rostropovich in what would have been his 90th birthday year.  The cornerstone of this project, which will start on November 3, 2015 and complete on April 8, 2017, will be a major tour to Russia in March 2017, where the Orchestra will perform two concerts in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg. Additional events will also include four weeks of Russian-focused programming in the Kennedy Center Concert Hall and various community engagement activities both in Washington, D.C. and in Russia.

For more information about partnership opportunities, as well as the unique visibility and VIP hospitality benefits available as part of this project, please refer to the NSO’s A Salute to Slava Sponsorship Brochure  or contact Stephen Planas, Manager of NSO Corporate and Foundation Relations, at +1 202-416-8091 or swplanas@kennedy-center.org .
