USRBC encourages members to join us for this important event to expand and deepen U.S. business community ties with the Eurasian Economic Commission, which sets many of the commercial rules for the region. The event will feature the following EEC leaders who have underscored the value of engagement with the private sector:
Tigran Sargsyan, Chairman, Eurasian Economic Commission
"Feedback from business is a pragmatic condition for the success of the [Eurasian Economic] Union. Therefore, starting at the development stage, we discuss all draft documents with the business community and also assess the possible impact of the proposed regulations on business activity." -- October 27, 2017
Mukai Kadyrkulov, Minister of Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission
"Customs regulation should be one of the driving forces for the economic development of the State, and this can only be achieved in close conjunction with business. The draft EAEU Customs Code is the first serious experience of joint work of the public sector and the business community. Business interests are placed at the same level as the interests of government bodies." -- May 23, 2016
Valery Koreshkov, Minister of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission
"Technical regulations should work together with the best international standards, making it possible to establish product requirements and market predictability and allowing businesses to clearly orient themselves toward modernizing their industry. At the same time, it increases the [EAEU's] export potential." -- June 30, 2017
Marat Kusainov, Minister of Competition and Antitrust Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission
"The task of the EEC is not only the search for [anti-trust] violations, but also their prevention and the restoration of a situation that would exist in the market if it functioned in a competitive state." -- May 19, 2017
